All matter emits some light as a consequence of its temperature. For relatively cool objects like people and the Earth, that light is too dim and not in the right frequency range for us to see. But for hotter objects like stars, their intrinsic temperature leads to them glowing brightly. In this article, we will see how this radiation arises and calculating its intensity.
